The SCVYO offers 7 ensembles from beginning strings and winds, to intermediate orchestra, and Novae Sinfonia for advanced musicians. We also offer Chamber Music, Guitar and Advanced Brass. There is sure to be an ensemble for you! Please visit Ensembles to learn more about our course offerings.

ANNUAL POINSETTIA CAMPAIGN

The SCVYO Annual Poinsettia Campaign is in full swing and we have already begun to receive orders!  This is one of the largest fundraisers we hold each year and the proceeds help us tremendously in maintaining the highest level of musical education and performance opportunities you have come to expect and value from the SCVYO. PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHTS

Samea Derrick, age 13, co-winner of the SCVYO Fall 2017 Concerto Competition, performs Cello Concerto No. 1 in A Minor by Camille Saint-Saëns, under the direction of Dr. Paul Sherman. Congratulations, Samea!!!

William Suwandi, age 14, co-winner of the SCVYO Fall 2017 concerto competition, performs Violin Concerto No. 4 in D major, by Mozart, accompanied by our elite orchestra. Dr. Paul Sherman, SCVYO Artistic Director, conducts.
