The Santa Clarita Valley Youth Orchestra presents “Carnival of the Animals!”

An interactive multimedia classical music experience for the whole family featuring dazzling animated visuals by Stephanie Delazeri, dancers from the Santa Clarita Ballet and the CalArts School of Dance, raffles, baked goods, pre-concert snacks and crafts for the little ones. Music by Saint-Saens, Grieg, Vargas, Meyer, and more!

The Santa Clarita Valley Youth Orchestra (SCVYO) will be performing live at Logix Federal Credit Union’s new Bridgeport Marketplace branch Grand Opening event from 12 – 2pm on Saturday, October 19. The public is invited to attend where selected SCVYO ensembles will perform live, and Logix representatives will present the SCVYO with a $1,000 donation. SCVYO will feature performances from the Prelude Strings Ensemble (Instructor Julissa Bozman), Prelude Winds and Brass Ensemble (instructor Susan Carpenter), and various chamber music groups from our advanced ensemble, Novae Sinfonia (instructor Derrick Spiva, Jr.) and Chamber Music class (instructor Rachel Iba).

The new Logix Federal Credit Union Branch at Bridgeport Marketplace is located at 24003 Newhall Ranch Road in the California Pizza Kitchen shopping plaza.

Late auditions will be held Sept 7. Pay for the entire year and lock in our lower price. Fees will increase approximately 10% January 2020.

ALL NEW musicians, continuing Novae musicians, students wishing to move up to the next ensemble level, and Orchestra students wishing to chair challenge must audition. Appointments are scheduled in the order received. Submit application here.
