Dear Friends of the SCVYO,

The Santa Clarita Valley Youth Orchestra is a non-profit organization that has provided exemplary musical education and performance opportunities to the youth of our community for more than 30 years. The SCVYO supports instrumental ensembles from our youngest musicians in Preludes, to intermediate musicians in Orchestra, and our most advanced musicians in Guitar Orchestra and Novae Sinfonia.  Unique to the SCVYO, we introduce students across all ensembles to world rhythms, diverse composers and modern instrumental arrangements, as well as the standard canon of classical repertoire.

Our annual Poinsettia Campaign supports the SCVYO as we continue to provide our students the ability to grow and succeed as musicians in a friendly, supportive, ethnically diverse environment, regardless of ability to pay.  The cultural life of our community is enriched beyond measure through these endeavors.  Earnings from our fundraisers and performances provide young musicians with Financial Aid and Fellowships, Professional Instrumental Coaches, Program Expansion, Operational Expenses, and much more.

The Santa Clarita Valley Youth Orchestra is pleased to extend this invitation to participate in our Annual Holiday Poinsettia Sale.  The success of the SCVYO depends not only on the commitment of its talented young musicians, but also on the generous support of families, friends and businesses in Santa Clarita and surrounding communities.  The SCVYO Poinsettia Campaign is the perfect opportunity to purchase BEAUTIFUL, FRESH, LOCALLY GROWN poinsettias just in time for the holiday season.  These exquisite flowers will add festive décor to office and home or be a welcomed holiday gift.
