We’re proud to be more than just a youth orchestra—we’re a musical home for the entire Santa Clarita Valley. At SCVYO, our mission goes beyond training young musicians; we create spaces where families, friends, and neighbors come together to celebrate the power of music and the voices of young people.

Through our adventurous and inclusive programming, students explore a vibrant spectrum of music—from Western classical works to contemporary, popular, and global traditions. Our award-winning curriculum fosters not only musical excellence, but also connection, curiosity, and cultural awareness.

By nurturing a joyful and supportive environment, we’re not just shaping future musicians—we’re building community, one rehearsal, one concert, and one shared experience at a time. In doing so, we empower young people to thrive—not only as artists, but as confident, compassionate members of the world around them.

Donations will go toward:

• Student Scholarship General Fund

  Empowering young musicians across Greater Los Angeles by eliminating financial barriers and providing the essential resources for their artistic growth.

• Guest Artists Series

  Bringing seasoned professionals from the music industry into our program to share their expertise and inspire our young musicians.

• Community Engagement

  Providing fun, interactive opportunities for children and families to build lifelong memories through the joy and excitement of music concerts.

• "Play It Forward" Instrument Lending Program

  Providing students in need with quality instruments at no cost, ensuring that financial barriers never stand in the way of musical growth.

• Scholarships for 2026 Seattle Tour

  Ensuring that every student, regardless of financial circumstance, has the chance to participate in this life-changing travel experience.

Here’s what’s at stake:

• $25: Covers the audition fee for a student in need, ensuring financial barriers don’t prevent talented youth from joining the orchestra.

• $50: Provides one hour of instrumental instruction for a group of young musicians, fostering their growth and skill development.

• $100: Funds sheet music for an entire section of the orchestra, enabling students to explore new & diverse repertoire.

• $250: Enables us to bring in a professional guest artist from the music industry to work with and inspire our students.

• $450: Completely covers the semester costs of participation for one student

• $1000: Sponsors cost of venue rental for 1 community concert.

• $2000: Enables one student to participate in our 2026 Seattle Tour

• $2500: Covers supplies and instruction for SCVYO Chamber Music Program

• $4500: Completely covers costs for 1 community concert.

Your modest monthly contribution can help in a myriad of ways:

$150 per month = $1,800/year
Covers enrollment fees and supplies for TWO advanced student musicians in need
for a full academic year of musical education.

$125 per month = $1,500/year
Covers cost of off-site climate controlled storage facility for music library
and quality instruments loaned to students in need at no cost.

$100 per month = $1,200/year
Contributes approximately 20% of COC University Center facility rental cost
of rehearsal space for a full academic year.

$50 per month = $600/year
Contributes to enrollment fees and supplies for one student in need
for a full academic year of musical education

$25 per month = $300/year
Contributes to enrollment fees and supplies for one student in need for
one semester of musical education.

$15 per month = $180/year
Helps provide partial fee waiver for one student in need for one semester.

$10 per month = $120/year
Helps provide partial fee waiver for one student in need for one semester.

All Institutional/Corporate donors will be recognized in our programs, on this website, AND receive complimentary tickets to our concerts.
